Every day is a new adventure, now that he's two...
*His personality has blossomed into a boy that is sweet, but stubborn.
*Tries to test his mommy to her wits end, but knows he can easily win her over with a coy smile and a hug.
*Must pick up his toys when he is done playing with them, put his shoes in his closet as soon as he gets home from school, and always always puts his garbage in the trash can and his dishes in the sink.
*Such a typical first child.
Now that he's two...
*His vocabulary is expanding every week, every day, every minute... favorite phrases like "Let's go bye-bye," "It's okay, mama," and "I am going outside now."
*Is obsessed with anything and everything Toy Story, and begs about every five minutes to watch "Woody! Woody!"
*Could live off of milk and bagels, plain oatmeal and yogurt, and, if daddy doesn't stop sneaking bites of his breakfast, Captain Crunch and Apple Jacks.
*Begs on a daily basis to go see his best friend "Renry." So much so, that I've had to start driving a different way out of the neighborhood so that he won't see Henry's house and start begging again.
And now that he's two...
*He has become one of the "big kids" in the neighborhood, jumping out of the car each afternoon to "join them" in games of tag and cowboys and indians and duck-duck-goose.
*Can sing along and do hand motions to several of his preschool songs, responds to the characters on Little Ensteins, and squeals with delight every time we drive down Jewetta and he feels the road go up and down like a rollercoaster.
*Recognizes his GDub and MamaD's neighborhood, our cars in the parking lot, and my voice in a room, even when he can't see me.
*Loves putting things in his pocket, especially items we don't want him to steal, like keys and cell phones and other things we panic over when we can't seem to find them.
Now that he's two...
Life is getting better by the second, and I am so enjoying each and every moment I get to spend with him.
