i am just a girl.
a girl who is striving to live her life for Jesus.
a girl who has gone down some hard roads in life,
but who has always been pulled back up by the one true Redeemer.
i am a sinner.
i will always be a sinner.
but, in God's beautiful mercy, he has saved me by his Grace.
he is Faithful.
he is Steadfast.
he will never, ever let me go.
i have kicked.
i have screamed.
i have shut the door on him many times.
but.
in his Goodness and Patience and Love he has never turned his back on me.
he remains my Rock and my Salvation.
for him and him alone i strive to honor and obey.
to him be all the Glory.
to him be all my Praise.
to him be all my Love.
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;
his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning;
great is your faithfullness.
"The Lord is my portion," says my soul, "therefore I will hope in him."
The lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul that seeks him.
It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvations of the Lord.
