Swee'Pea Update...

Because Swee'Pea had gone a full seven hours without vomiting or pooping his brains out, we decided to brave it and take him to a get-together at Pizzaville for Popeye's co-workers and their families.

Twenty minutes into it, he vomited all over my lap, Popeye's lap, himself, the table, and the floor.  We dashed to the men's restroom where we attempted to clean up with the one measly burp rag we had brought.  Swee'Pea, in his typical Swee'Pea fashion, was unfazed by the whole debacle and was quite confused as to why we were stripping him down naked and running from the restaurant.

We left behind a full pitcher of Newcastle and any good impression we hoped to make on these people.

Seriously.  Baby barf is the worst.

  3. So sad! I was hoping he would be feeling better today. And REALLY sad about the Newcastle (at least the co-workers got to drink that...so they probably weren't that upset with you!).

  5. Awww man :( We usually stay quarantined for a full 24 hours pass the last puke or fever. Good luck! Hope you and Popeye don't catch it!

  6. I hope your little guy feels better soon, that is so pitiful!! Nothing worse than the flu and feeling helpless because there is nothing you can do to make it better.

  9. We've had THREE similar episodes with our Emily and dubbed her the public barfer! All three times were random puking... no sickness before or after. Sometimes you just never know with little ones! :)

I hope one of you ran out to the market to pick up some bottled Newcastle. You deserve it!

  11. Oh my gosh, you poor dear. After reading this post and the one before it I have to say that you are a mommy-hero. There is nothing worse then cleaning up after a little one who can't barf in the right place.

Hopefully you have all fully recovered by now! :)
