Tasty summer salad...

This is my uber favorite, super easy, straight-up from my garden yo, salad.  All you need is...

Fresh veggies and herbs from the garden.
Some mixey mixers from the pantry.

A little slicey slice.
A little mixey mix.
Dump it all in a pretty bowl and toss, toss, toss.
Devour as much as humanly possible before your husband comes home from a motorcycle ride and fights you for the yummy tid bits.

Make this salad every day for the rest of the summer and you'll love me forever and ever, Amen.

Cucumber, Tomato, Basil Salad
2 vine ripe tomatoes
2 cucumbers (i used one regular and one lemon cucumber)
a small handful of basil
4 tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar
2 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil
1/2 teaspoon sugar
freshly ground pepper to taste

Slice the cukes and tomato thinly and chop the basil.
Mix up the drizzle.
Dump it all together.
Put in the fridge for a half an hour or so for best taste.
if you can wait that long.
Enjoy.
